Rogiet, situated alongside the Severn Estuary, is a village steeped in history. Much of the past development occurred because of its proximity to the railway at Severn Tunnel Junction; present expansion results from easy access to the M4 corridor and  Second Severn Crossing. Rogiet Primary School caters for pupils aged 4 to 11 years of age. Our current catchment area is  Rogiet, Highmoor Hill, Five Lanes and Caerwent.

We moved to our current school site in November 2009. The school building was awarded with the ‘2010 BREEAM Award (Schools) for Wales and the UK,’ scoring an ‘Excellent’ rating of 78.18%. This award acknowledged the school building as having the highest rating for sustainability of any other school or educational building of the time, Pupils were involved in every stage of the design process, working with the architects White Design and the construction contractor Wilmott Dixon to ensure that all their ideas - from solar panels to the colour schemes of the classroom - became a reality!

The school is a secure site, with all boundaries fenced and gates locked  during the school day.

All visitors must report to the main office at the front of the building.
